Americas soldiers and technology had a queen-sized role in the allies defeat of Germany. The war was ended with the Treaty of Versailles. The 1920s brought about a time of prosperity for America. 50% of Americans were living in urban areas by this time. The country was going with prohibition, making alcohol illegal.
